The Altum Group is seeking motivated and experienced land survey professionals. Applications are being accepted for both Land Survey Crew Chief and Field Survey Technician openings. Individuals with current and valid CA Licensed Surveyors or CA LSIT certifications are encouraged to apply, but are not required for the positions.
Responsibilities may include boundary, topographic, as-built or GPS surveys as well as construction staking. Positions may require periodic out-of-town travel and a flexible work schedule. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Favorable skills may include:
Ability to operate robotic total station and GPS RTK survey equipment;
Maintains accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed;
Office experience; specifically in AutoCAD, Trimble or Leica software;
Professional written and verbal communication skills.

The Altum Group is seeking motivated and experienced physical, policy and environmental planners. Applicants must have planning degree, or a degree in a closely related field (i.e., landscape architecture, architecture, geography) from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years of experience. Though entry level positions may be available. AICP certification is desirable.
Responsibilities may include:
Preparation of various policy documents (i.e., general plans, community plans, specific plans, zoning codes);
Preparation of CEQA, NEPA and TEPA documents;
Concept development and graphic presentation of physical/site plans for a variety of urban uses.
Preparation of project feasibility analysis.

The Altum Group is seeking motivated and experienced Civil Engineer. Applicants must have an engineering degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years of land development experience in California. Applicant must be a registered California Professional Engineer. Registration in Nevada and Arizona is desirable.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of various improvement plans (street, grading, wet utilities);
Preparation of Calculations - e.g, hydrology, sewer and water, cost estimating.
Preparation of various report - e.g., drainage, storm water pollution, due diligence etc.
Requirements include:
Professional written and verbal communication skills;
Demonstrated supervisorial skills;
Demonstrated project management skills;
Maintains accurate project records;
Demonstrated skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D;
Knowledge of related specialist software desirable
